After more than a decade of documenting the heartbeat of the Tri-state food scene, food. curated. is proud to announce its expansion to a national stage with a Community Potluck for Public Television. This summer, our award-winning docuseries will debut on National Public Television in partnership with American Public Television, bringing the stories of local makers, independent farmers, and visionary chefs to audiences across the United States.

The transition from a regional series to a national broadcast marks a pivotal milestone in our mission to champion the people who feed us. This expansion ensures that the cultural heritage, craft, and community-driven stories we’ve spent years capturing are shared with the widest possible audience.
The Mission & Purpose
The move to national broadcast is more than just a change in reach; it is a commitment to the visibility of independent food media. In an era of fast-paced content, food. curated. remains dedicated to long-form storytelling, honoring the labor and the legacy behind our plates. Finalizing a series for national distribution requires a collective effort. To ensure this debut reflects the values of who and what we care about most, we are turning to the community to share in building our future.
The Event: A Community Potluck for Public Television
To celebrate this achievement and raise the final funds necessary for our national launch, we are hosting a Community Potluck for Public Television at Farm to People in Brooklyn. This evening is designed to mirror the values of the series: a shared table, independent voices, and the celebration of craft. We are bringing together long-time fans, featured food makers, and iconic artists for a night of collaborative support.
The Evening Includes:
- A Shared Table: A community-driven potluck featuring dishes from our guests and celebrated local chefs.
- The Beverage Program: Premium spirits from High West Whiskey and Tequila Mi Campo, craft brews from Threes Brewing, and custom cocktails by Izzy Tulloch (A Bar Called Pancakes).
- Live Entertainment: Exclusive, intimate performances by Geoff Rickly (Thursday) and avant-garde rock artist Sloppy Jane (Haley Dahl).
Join the Mission: Bring a Dish, Build a Show
We invite you to be part of the foundation for this national debut. To maintain the intimacy of the evening, attendance is strictly limited to 150 guests.
