“It brings you back to being that kid where a candy bar was like the happiest moment of your day…”

Meet Liz Gutman and Jen King, the founders/pastry chefs behind Liddabit Sweets, a small batch candy business based in Brooklyn, NY. I first met these gregarious, hard-working, candy-loving ladies when I first did a story on them last year for food. curated.. Back then, they weren’t full-time candy makers. Back then, they were still trying to figure out where to take their hobby/business idea. Well, as months went by, the Liddabit brand exploded. They’ve tripled the size of their business or more, have grown their number of wholesale accounts to over 25 businesses, and were even featured in Oprah’s magazine. I have no doubt Jen and Liz have a long career ahead of them, and I hope the video shows you how much love goes into it. I mean, who doesn’t want to try “the snickers bar to end all Snickers bars”?!!

For an entire list of their creative candy line, you can visit their website. Liddabit Sweets sells at The Brooklyn Flea on weekends, in select stores in Brooklyn, Manhattan, Boston, East Hampton, Los Angeles and online.
